Dr Samantha Chen is an Australian-trained specialist General Surgeon with subspecialty training in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with First Class Honours from the University of New South Wales and completed her General Surgery training, attaining her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

She then undertook two years of subspecialty training in Breast Surgery at Mater Hospital Brisbane and Royal Perth Hospital. She also completed a Master of Advanced Surgery in Breast Surgery from the University of Sydney.

Dr Chen further trained at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London, gaining expertise in oncoplastic techniques and breast reconstruction, which culminated in her appointment as a locum Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon.

Dr Chen is currently also a Breast and General Surgeon at Prince of Wales Hospital, The Royal Hospital for Women, BreastScreen NSW, and Prince of Wales Private Hospital. She is a member of BreastSurgANZ, the Australasian Society for Breast Disease, and General Surgeons of Australia. She is also certified to provide Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy.

Dr Chen is dedicated to teaching and has published and presented internationally. She values individual patient care, clear communication, and teamwork.
